What a great weekend away. I was hanging for a short break with a difference, and this trip delivered. Congratulations to the Smok'd Tour guys. This was one well-organized tour. What I loved most about it was they not only found people that fed us excellent Smoked food and introduced us to some fantastic gin and rum tasting. But all the people they sourced had fascinating stories to tell. I loved the stories. Rob B What better way to experience more of regional Qld than on a trip with Smok'd Tours! We got to know Bundaberg & some of its interesting characters, along with some other stops along the way. The BBQ experiences were all unique & absolutely delicious, and we definitely discovered that there's more to Bundy than rum. I can’t wait to see what Smok'd Tours has planned next! Christie G

Day 1 Brisbane-Bundaberg

We depart Brisbane on board our Luxury coach.


We stop on on the way to Bundaberg for a USA Style BBQ Lunch at The Bunker Smokehouse in Gympie. We have a chat with Pitmaster Jarrod Dan about why he BBQ's the way he does. Jarrod will then provide you with a BBQ feast with a good selection of his BBQ offerings.


After filling our tums, we make our way to Bundaberg .Our first tasting is at OHANA WINERY CHEEKY TIKI CIDER WITH A PRIVATE TOUR AND TASTING. They are a cider house that uses real Apples to make Apple cider ( surprisingly not that common!! ) They have an array of other flavoured ciders, including Passionfruit, Ginger and Lime plus some rotating flavours. You will get to try six of your choice.

Once we have checked into our hotel your night is free in central Bundaberg. Why not check out the Bargara Brewing company, it’s a short walk and has many craft beers and an awesome alcoholic ginger beer!!

Day 2 Bundaberg

We leave the hotel at 09:00am and head to the One Little Farm shop, grab a coffee (included) and pick up guide Anthony. Anthony is a 4th Generation Bundy farmer. We will set off and explore Bundaberg’s fascinating farming history, where it is presently and what the future holds. We will visit Anthony’s commercial hydroponic farm where we will get to taste fresh produce with an opportunity to purchase some.


We stop for lunch at One Little Farm (included). You should have time to check out Bundaberg Ginger Beer and make some purchases before we head towards the iconic Bundaberg Rum Distillery for a tour, tasting and visit the amazing Bundaberg Rum shop.


From here we head to the highlight of our weekend, our exclusive private function at the internationally renowned KALKI MOON DISTILLERY. Upon arrival you will receive a cocktail followed by a tour through the distillery. It is followed by a private Gin Masterclass with Rick, the Master Distiller and owner. Includes 5 tastings

A USA Style BBQ Dinner will be served by 4760 BBQ while we enjoy our time at Kalki Moon.

The bar will remain open for you to enjoy drinks at your own expense, before we head back to our hotel around 9pm.





Day 3: Bundaberg –Brisbane


We depart Bundaberg and back back towards Brisbane with a stop on the way in Childers. We then continue to Sunshine & Sons Distillery. We have a welcome cocktail on arrival as well as some spirit tastings. We enjoy a USA STYLE BBQ lunch from the team at Rustys Food and Barbecue. After a long lunch we depart with an estimated arrival time back into Brisbane of around 5pm



Minimum number of passengers required for the tour to go ahead. $200 per person non-refundable deposit to secure your place. Balance due 30 days prior to departure. Terms and conditions apply. If tour does not proceed due not reaching minimum numbers, your deposit will be refunded.

Day 1


Brisbane to Stanthorpe



We have an early morning start around 7am, where you board our luxury coach where we head to Phat Boyz Smokehouse where Luke and his pit crew will serve us a breakfast with a twist of USA Style BBQ. We will also learn about Luke and his passion for BBQ and why he does things his way.


After breakfast we will head over to Scenic Rim Brewery for a Wurst platter and some tasty brews, from Wendy, Mike and their team.


A nice full belly will make the trip up to Conrad Distillery to taste the uniqueness of Debra's spirits from grapes.


After freshening up at our hotel we will head out to Granite Belt Brewery for a 3 course feast with matching brews as well as a brewery tour. There will be time to relax to buy yourself a few of your favourite bevvies from the bar.


I'm sure you will sleep well tonight.




Day 2


Stanthorpe to Brisbane



After a good night's rest at our accommodation, if you need to, you can take a short walk to one of the downtown cafes to buy some breakfast.

We will leave our accommodation around 8:30am where we head over to Nicoletti Farm for a unique farm experience.

This is where the apples come from for the cider you taste on our Bundy, more than just rum tour.

No trip is complete to Stanthorpe without a trip to Stanthorpe Cheese for a cheese tasting and Sutton's Farm for their famous apple pie.


As we focus on USA Style BBQ we have to take you to 2m's BBQ in Kalbar for a late lunch and chat with Shane.

We will arrive back in Brisbane in the late afternoon where you will say goodbye to your newfound friends.
